Hello,

We need clear history to come to conclusion. Are you feeling difficulty to swallow or difficulty to reach food to stomach?

If you are feeling dysphagia due to oral or pharyngeal or esophageal pathology will be there like pharyngitis or GERD or esophageal spasm or achalasia.

Feeling slow digestion means problem with in the stomach and liver or pancreas. So, take barium, swallow if you have any pathology in esophagus you come to know.

Treatment may depend on the diagnosis so please follow your treating doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
