What Causes Feeling Of Heart Beat In Lower Left Side Of Ribcage?

I can feel my heart beat in my lower left side of my rib cage below my breast. It is not normal and there is an achy sharp stabbing pain when I breath in. I just noticed it last night when I was laying on my left side. I started getting short of breath and my heart started to beat a little faster. My heart beat is still irregular today and the pain is getting worse and my heart is pounding harder. What could that be?

That could be arrythmia.u shld have holter monitoring
Also get an ecg,chest x ray done
Localized pain though points towards muskuloskeletal pain,but cardia & lung pathology has to be ruled out
