What Causes Feeling Of Lump In Throat Of 6 Year Old?

My son is 6 years old, and for the last 5 nights he has been swallowing excessively, and says it feels like there is a lump or something from keeping saliva from going down, so he has to keep swallowing. He is normally healthy, but I am becoming concerned

The symptoms you described could be due to throat infection.
Confirm if it is bacterial by throat swab for strep.
If positive he will need a course of antibiotics
Ensure he drinks plenty of liquids
