What Causes Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat?

Hey, so i woke up this morning feeling something in the back of my mouth/throat, and felt it most after i eat and drink, i thought it was something stuck there, or a grazed it some how, but I ve just looked and i have about 6 really small white blister/pimple looking things, all in patch, and now my throat hurts a little bit, nothing to complain about though. Ive been around a few people who have had the flu, but i don t really think i have the flu, i haven t had much energy the past couple of days though. Please help!

Hello,
You have inflammation and should schedule a visit with your physician to check for strep. A simple swab can help determine a diagnosis. Treatment is a prescription antibiotic, rinsing with warm salt water and avoiding irritants. You want to take the correct antibiotic only after you confirmed a diagnosis. Make sure you drink water to keep well hydrated. Monitor for a fever since you report being close to people having the flu. Antiinflammatory medication such as Tylenol or Motrin may help reduce swelling and soreness. A viral source will need time to run through your body . Avoid close contact with others. Wash your hands often.
Thank you for your inquiry. I hope you feel better and do not develop the flu.
