What Causes Feeling Of Stopped Heartbeat At Night While Lying Flat?

Yes hello, I am a registered nurse, 49 yrs old, tachycardia, small heart murmur, bronchitis, hypothyroidism, I every now and then only while sleeping never happens while in upright position or awake , jump out of my sleep , yell out like my HEART STOPPED BEATING, I am breathing okay , just feel lifeless, only happens when I lay flat in my sleep, scared me most last night, happens maybe 2-4 times per month

hello
-these symptoms of heart stopping may be due to premature ventricular comtractions(PVC)
-what happens when there is a PVC, following a pvc there is a compensatory pause- it feels like palpitation and missing heart beat
-if you are much bothered by the symptoms visit a cardiologist
-an echocardiography will exclude any organic heart disease
-a holter monitoring will pick up the rhythm abnormalities
