Hi.
Thank for your query.
Noted the history about removal of appendix, felt a pop at one of the one of the incisions and the area felt warm, pains too, nothing seen on the surface of the skin, wants to know whether to be worried about something internal.
Since you have been operated today and you felt the pop in one of the incisions so recently, the chances are that you had a bout a coughing or so.
It is possible that the muscles might have given through or the stitch cut through.
Talk to your Doctor as this can be managed immediately by putting in another stitch under local anesthesia if there is give-up.
May be an ultrasound and coughing reflux can show if there is a rent.
If nothing is found you will be asked to wait and watch.
Avoid strains on the abdomen as increase n intra-abdominal pressure can cause this.
