Hello,

As the Doppler scan is normal this is not going to be a varicose veins. So you should be relaxed. For reducing the swelling in the ankle and feet for now you can take diuretics like - lemon juice or medicine under the physician supervision.

Also, we need to assess the ankle joint for any ligament injury as due to ligament Injury there are chances of the swelling of the foot and ankle. An x-ray or MRI will be helpful.

Since history is limited without age, sex, and past Medical history it's little difficult to an accurate diagnosis and treatment.

But for now, do hot water fermentation, use crepe bandage, keep the foot over the pillow while lying down, do ankle toe movements, static hamstring, static Quadriceps, straight leg raise to have symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
