First of all what was the reason for kidney removal that was done 10 years back? was it due to recurrent urine infections? If so, urinary tract infection at present could be the reason for fever. First rule out urine infection. I don't think that excessive work is reason for fever. Consult general physician for work up of fever and rulingout lung infection, malaria, tuberculosis etc. All the best. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
