What Causes Fever And Irritation During Urination?

I am living in middle east.. Yesterday night I had a sudden fever with shivering and felt very cold.. I passed urine and motion.. I had irritating feeling when i pass urine and i feel irritation in my rectum also after i passed motion.. And then my temperature increased heavily, i took one paraacetomal tablet.. I covered myself with blanket and tries to sleep but i woke up every one hour and felt i was sweating.. Every time i woke up i cant hold back my urine and passing urine drops and the irritation is too much.. after sweating my temperature drops down and in the morning i felt OK.. but with a very little headache.. Is there any serious problem with me?

Dear- thanks for using our service, I understand your concern and will help you with my advise. Your symptoms are compatible with urinary track infection and it is advisable to get an urine sample for culture and sensitivity. After you do that, you can start prophilactic antibiotic treatment with ciprofloxacin 500mg po twice a day. You should drink plenty of water and add cranberry juice.High temperature is due to the infection, you can continue with paracetamol or acetaminophen.
