What Causes Fever And Swelling In Tonsils?

I have been on flagyl and macrobid since last week..i now have a temp that stays on a average of 100.05 t its lowest and has gone up to 101.8-102.9 my tonsils are swollen and hurt there is white stuff on them and my tongue is white, my ears hurt, my body aches, neck hurts, and get chills what can tjis be?

Hi, thanks for the query.
Start antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids , combination of Paracetemol + Ibuprofen , Antihistaminic levocetirizine , Antibiotic azithromycin for 5 days.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
