What Causes Fever, Feeling Ice Cold And Depression After Hysterectomy?

My mom is 53 and just had a partial hysterectomy last week due to uterine fibroids. She has been home for about 5 days now. Suddenly today halfway through the day she has a high fever, though she claims she feels ice cold, and also is shaking a bit. She complained this morning of sudden depression which is very much unlike her. She wants to wait till tomorrow to call the doctors. Would it be ok to wait till tomorrow, or should I take her to the hospital right now?
