Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had fevers almost daily in the evening and nighttime for the last two weeks. I also seem to be heavily congested and having some issues with allergies. When I get a fever, I am pretty well bedridden with fatigue, body ache, and headache. I am planning on seeing my doctor for a blood panel. what might be causing this?
You may be suffering from viral fever with rhinopharyngitis or sinus congestion or malarial fever or tuberculosis etc. Drink plenty of water, avoid allergens like animal dander or pollen or cold.
Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Paracetamol thrice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved please get it blood examination for malaria or enteric fever or Lyme's disease or urinary Infection etc. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
