What Causes Fever, Lung Infection, Drain From Nose After Bowel Removal Surgery?
my husband has had bowel removal surgery on Friday was great day one now is in a lot of pain very high temp nearly 40, has a drain in his side to drain a collection has an infection from this and a double lung infection now has a drain down his nose which is bringing up green coloured stuff the collection coming from his side seems to a mix if blood nd urine,im very worried he doesn't seem to be getting any better he is only 38,please help any advice is he in threat of been septic my uncle died from that im so worried
I really appreciate your concern, if these are the post surgical even having symptoms of pain and fever then it could be due to infection if it is the high grade fever then it demands the immediate medical attention, fever can be managed with Acetaminophen and pain can be managed with Diclofenac, if the infection proved the antibiotic needs to be started, over all such case need close medical attention.
Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
