Hi,

Dilated veins on lower leg, with fever, point towards deep vein thrombosis, which is known to occur in pregnancy. This should be evaluated as it can lead to a very serious condition called pulmonary embolism, which could be life threatening.
I would like to know if you have any family history of diseases called thrombophillias? Did you have varicose veins before pregnancy.?
You need to get a ultrasound of both your legs called Compression Duplex ultrasound and consult a physician immediately.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
