What Causes Fever,sores On Hand And Mouth With Swollen Gums?

My two yr old daughter Has had a 101 fever for 9 days and isnt eating or drinking much at all she has 3 sores one on her finger one on her tounge and one on the outside of her mouth. She has already had hand foot and mouth and this is not the same! I took her to the dr and they sent me home told me to give her baby asprin but today she has new symtoms really swoolen gums that r bleeding?

hi.sorry to hear about your daughter.she is having fever with bleedind gums and sores on hand and mouth.did you do a complete blood tests to rule out dengue and bleeding disorder.even so fever for more than a week requires tests to rule out dengue,typhoid and leptospirosis infection.consult pediatrician and til then give her oral rehydration salts and bland diet.give paracetomol 4th hrly.avoid aspirin.take care
