Hi. My thumbs (sometimes other fingers also) twitch when I slightly move them closer to the index finger. And when I m smiling, some minutes later, my corner of the mouth also twitches...but that doesn t last very long. So I m worried it may be Parkinson s disease (my grandmother has it) or something other serious. But can it be, I m only 17. I hope you can help. Thank you!
Check your calcium levels please. Sudden onset twitching indicates calcium deficiency, specially of face. Also, Parkinson's is very much unlikely at your age.
