Hi
I consulted a doctor today morning who is an ayurvedic doctor. I get pain on my anus a few days after I eat something spicy like chutney etc. Doctor identified that there is a pile and a fissure. He asked me to come today and get it operated. There was pus formation there. Should I go for a second opinion or shall I get it operated tomorrow?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Fissure are seen commonly due to hard stools. Only when it is chronic requires surgery. 2. Take a second opinion and wait for it to heal completely without any infection. Infected condition, surgery could get complicated. 3. Usually now-a-days, laser can help in treatment. Surgery is not necessary. Eat soft diet for few days, it should reduce pain and allow time for it to heal. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
