What Causes Flank Pain On The Right Side And Blood In Urine?
My Grandfather is experiencing flank / abdominal pain on right side, with fever, blood in urine and confusion (seeing things that are not there) - he is 85 YO - initial tests say no kidney stones / issues and not appendicitis. Tests included blood work, CT scan, ultrasound.... Anything that jumps out as a distinct possibility here?

What Causes Flank Pain On The Right Side And Blood In Urine?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The most common cause of flank pain and blood in urine with fever is the urinary infection. I recommend to take a urine culture and gets antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, urinary alkaliser medicines to control the infection early. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Purva Patel
