My husband developed a halo of light in his left eye yesterday, when he blinks. he went to bed early to rest. we thought it might be stress or a migraine - he never gets head aches- He is very fit but has a stressful job. The lights were still flashing this morning. Any ideas Gill
Hello Welcome to health care magic. I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your husband is having acute onset of flashes of light. This needs to be evaluated in consultation with a ophthalmologist or preferably by a retinal specialist as we need to rule out posterior segment problems like vitreous detachment or retinal tear. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment at the earliest.
Thank you
