What Causes Flatulence, Left Abdominal Painful Cramps, Diarrhea, Rectal Bleeding And Clotting?

I had a lot of gas two nights ago but had been having regular bowel movements. I had abdominal cramps at night the past two nights. Yesterday morning, I had abdominal pain mostly on the left side then started having diarrhea. After several events that occurred every few minutes, the last episode was accompanied by a lot of blood and clots following that bout of diarrhea. I didn t eat or drink much because I was scared the diarrhea would begin again and I had to make a 220 mile drive home. This morning, the pain began again, fewer episodes and blood on the toilet tissue and in the toilet and reddish brown loose stools. Both mornings, the bleeding became obvious after bouts of diarrhea. I m nauseated but haven t vomited and I m achy all over. Should I seek medical care?
