What Causes Floaters In The Line Of Vision?

Hi, I was walking today, and my left eye suddenly became very cloudy, with a LOT of tiny floaters, kind of like looking through a cloudy glass of 7-up...I ve been under tremendous stress lately, and also had cataract surgery in both eyes over a year ago

Hello,

There can be a degenerative condition of the retina for floaters are from the retina and floating in vitreous cannot be treated but to be kept under watch if there is sudden increase then it can lead to retinal detachment. Fundus examination is to be done and look for hole tear and peripheral detachment. Only monitoring can be done. Might be having uveitis with aqueous flare it can be treated, with oral steroid and dexamethasone eye drop. Tapering is to be done steroid, and its side effect is to be balanced slowly steroid to be withdrawn.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
