What Causes Fluid Behind The Ear Leading To Muffled Hearing?
I have been suffering for two years now with what feels like a blocked threat from catarrh I constantly have to keep swallowing. I will also get what feels like fluid behind my ear which seems to cause a bubble and makes my hearing sound very muffled. Doctor has told me my one ear is jammed with wax but refused to syringe my ears and say they do not offer that service. What is causing this and how can I cure it? With having my ear unblocked solve it?

Causes of fluid behind ear include acute /chronic ear infection,allergies.adenoid enlargement,sinus infections,nasopharyngeal pathology ,gastroesophageal reflux.Treatment includes finding the cause and treat.Drugs steroids can be tried.Grommet insertion if not improving with steroids
