What Causes Fluid Retention In The Hands And Knees?
What would cause apparent fluid retention in hands and knee area coupled with the feeling that food is not going all the way into the stomach but appears to stop in the upper chest area. there is no pain and no trouble running, exercising or fatigue, there is a loss of appitite however.
Possible causes for fluid retention is anemia, cardiac or renal failure or hypoproteinemia etc. Please get it done serum creatinine, hemoglobin status, ECG, echocardiogram and liver function tests.
Difficult to swallowing is may be due to lower esophagitis, or achalasia cardia or acid reflux, etc. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
