What Causes Flushed And Warm Cheeks After A Stomach Flu?

I had a bad GI bug yesterday ( abd pain,vomiting and watery diarrhea ) that hit me suddenly. I kept checking my temp although I didn t feel warm. My temp did not get above 97. Last night my face felt warm so I checked it again and it was 99. I looked in the mirror and my cheeks were flushed and warm. Checked it again, 98.8. I feel much better today, but my cheeks are still flushed and warm. What causes this?

Hi and welcome to HCM,

Flushed and warm cheeks are due to your stomach flu only. Nothing to worry about this. If possible do a widal test. Continue your meds as prescribed by your doctor.
