What Causes Foamy Yellow Diarrhea With Vomiting In A 2 Year Old?

Hello! My daughter is 2.5 years old and seems to have a GI virus. She vomited 3x 5 days ago and once yesterday. She also started with foamy, yellow diarrhea yesterday. She only had a fever and lethargy the very first day. Her appetite has been a little off for about a week now, but sometimes is normal. Any concern with the odd stools? or is that normal for a toddler GI virus?

Thanks for the query.
It looks like she is improving from stomach flu.
Gastroenteritis, which causes toddler or baby diarrhea and/or vomiting, is usually caused by a virus like rotavirus, enterovirus, viruses that also cause upper respiratory infections.
Try oral rehydration solution, zinc, probiotics.
If there is continuos fever, lethargy, decreased urine output then see s doctor.
Hope i helped you.
