What Causes Food Getting Struck In Throat?
I have trouble with food getting stuck in my esophigus, about half way through my meal. I once vomited it back up, and with my food, came clear mucus, afterwhich the food went down better. this has been going on for a few years, but I only vomited once. I had polio 56 years ago, I am not on any medications.

It can be due to some esophageal pathology. You should get a barium swallow study done, and if required an esophagoscopy has done.
