What Causes Formation Of Pus On Exterior Base Of Throat?
as an infant i had surgery on my throat that my physician and i are trying to determine what it was. i am now 68 and no-one in my family is alive that could answer that question. the symptoms (as i was told) comprised a 'bag of pus' on the exterior of the base of my throat with 'something inside' the throat. the reason we are trying to find the reason for the surgery is, within the last few months, a lump has appeared under the scar left by the above surgery. said lump is close to the size of an egg sliced lengthwise. given my age, could the present condition be in any way associated with the surgery as an infant?
