I just recently lost another job due to "smell" I bathe constantly, almost obsessively and yet Im being told that I smell of cat pee, ammonia, and vaginal discharge. I am on medications, but I work out eat correctly and watch my health. what could this be?
Body odour is caused by bacteria breaking down sweat and is largely linked to the apocrine glands. Most body odor comes from these glands. The apocrine glands are mainly responsible for body odor because the sweat they produce is high in protein, which bacteria can break down easily.
In certain conditions such as diabetes, hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating),vitamin deficiencies, foul body odour can occur which should be ruled out.Any fungal infections or abnormal discharge should be ruled out.
Shower twice a day and use deodarants.Gently cleanse sensitive areas. Sensitive areas may include your genital area, anus, and ears. Don’t douche, but use gentle cleansers to keep your genitals healthy. Gently rinse your ears with warm, not hot, water to help loosen earwax and clean your ear canal.
