What Causes Foul Smelling Stools In Infants?

toddler at daycare has really strong smelling foul stools that s hard to wipe off his bottom. It actually causes me to have dry heaves or vomit it s so horrible smelling. Any idea what is causing this? I can t stand changing his dirty diapers due to the immediate reaction I have upon smelling his feces.

I can understand your concerns. Foul smelling stools in a child is most commonly due to stomach infection. in most cases, there are also chances of loose stools. I suggest you to get the child examined by doctor. Child will probably need antibiotic.
