What Causes Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge In Children?
my daughter has a stretcy mucusy discharge on the outside of her vagina when i change her nappy (not fully potty trained). also, i noticed it has an odd smell - since i'm a distance away from that area, it is pungent and must smell more than a little bit. she constantly complains of a sore tummy, it has occurred to me do you think she might have a uti?

I can understand your concerns.
I would suggest you get her urine checked. But in my opinion she does not have pain or burning while passing urine so she probably does not have uti. It is more likely that she has a fungal infection in her vagina.
A local application of emusome M may be useful. Please consult your doctor for the prescription and urine test.
