I have been having a foul taste in my mouth and some what of a moth ball type odor for a couple of weeks. Yesterday I started having a burning sensation in chest and throat and I am feeling a that same sensation in my upper stomach just underneath my chest. I just brushed my teeth and I still have that foul taste and odor.

Hello

Please meet your ent doctor or gastro entrologist as it looks like that you are having either acid reflux from your stomach or a condition called diverticula, which is a pouch like structure from the food pipe. Both of these conditions have to be evaluated and treated early , to prevent complications. Please meet your doctor soon.
