What Causes Frequent Attacks Of Headaches And Pain In Eyes?

my wife's headache troubles her every day since 2003.
i have tried to take her for examination but nothing shows.
she also complains of the eyes and some time blood level normally
goes down. what can be the problem and what type of medicine can
i look for?

I understand your concern and would like to explain that her symptoms may be related to tension type headache or chronic daily headache.

I recommend consulting with the neurologist and performing a brain MRI besides some lab tests ( complete blood count for anemia, kidney and liver function tests, thyroid hormone levels and blood electrolytes) to exclude other causes of headache.

I also advise to closely monitor her blood pressure.

If all the above tests result normal, you should discuss with your doctor the possibility of starting an antidepressant of SSRI class which are very effective in primary chronic headaches.
