What Causes Frequent Bacterial Skin Infections?

For the past two years I have been getting bacterial infections and I recently found out that my skin is sensitive and I had to change over a lot of things such as my soap and washing detergent. After a while they stopped and I recently got one again. Can you tell me why I m still getting bacterial infections ?

Hello,

Boils or bacterial infections are frequently seen in persons who are applying some kind of oils or moisturizers which actually blocks the pores and leading to inflammation and infection.

Exposure to heat and humidity also has the same effect on the oil glands and hair root. Certain skin infections also make the skin prone for the infection by bacteria.

If an individual has personal or family history of diabetes, then also due to raised sugar level the bacteria have favourable environment to grow. You check for all these feature and correct any of the factors which are most commonly predisposing to folliculitis or boils, it is not at all a thing of worry for you.

All the best.
