Hello, With the description of the sequence of events you have given, it is more likely that you have had a very early miscarriage. It is more akin to a chemical pregnancy. The cause of the irregular bleeding could be an accompanying hormone disturbance or an incomplete abortion; since you have consistently negative pregnancy tests, it is unlikely that the pregnancy is still continuing. Please get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres along with a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the situation and plan further management. Hope this helps.
