What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement Causing Skin Excoriation In Toddler?

My 2 year old son weighing approximately 12-14kgs has this small frequent bowel movement causing skin excoriation. He has this for almost a month. We're just wondering what could have caused this & what is the best remedy. He has been given Pimafucort cream.
