What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement?

I have been on a low carb diet for a month now. I have been eating an Atkins meal for lunch and one of their snack bars for a late afternoon snack. My other meals have consisted of lean meats and vegetables. For about two weeks now my stomach has been bothering me. A lot of churning and growling. Also my bowel movements have become more frequent and have become lighter in color. What could be causing this?

The change in stools can be due to the change in your diet, however it depends on how light in color your stools are. If they are clay colored, then this could indicate that there is a problem with your gallbladder/bile ducts. You should see your doctor if this is the case.
