Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Running nose and loose stools probably suggest a viral illness. If she is otherwise active and playful, we need not worry much. Give frequent breast feeds, milk or fluids to prevent dehydration. Give Acetaminophen if she develops fever, saline nasal drops for any nasal congestion. Nothing else needed as of now. We can evaluate further if no improvement in 3-4 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
