What Causes Frequent Episodes Of Irregular Heart Beat After ICD Implant?

I had a heart attack 5 years ago and had a stint implant. Last year I had an ICD implanted. I feel fine, mow the grass, wash the cars and walk 2 miles every other day. However occasionally, several times a week, I experience an irregular heartbeat, i.e., skips. They only last for a short while and always occur when I m reading or watching TV. I have no problem when working or exercising. I don t get light headed or dizzy. Is this normal?

hi,
I suppose, ICD was implanted in you as a part of primary prophylaxis against significant arrhythmias (common with patients having LVEF=I would ask you to meet your cardiologist, get an ECG and evaluation, ICD interrogation, and we can certainly help you out of it.
