What Causes Frequent Heart Palpitations?

I can feel my heart palpatating. I also have a stethescope and can here the frequent irregularity of my heart. It beats normal for about 15 seconds then it feels like it skips a beat and then beats faster for a second. This has been going on since yesterday. Should I be concerned enough to to to the ER?

thank you for asking question..ireregular heart rate with feeling of palpitation is suggestive of some rhythm disorders,either regularly irregular or irregularly irregular.it may be a simple vpcs or more serious atrial fibrillation.you should contact in ER to rule out underlying structural heart disease.it may be a lone AF, if you dont have any disease.
