What Causes Frequent Hot Flashes After Taking Mononessa?

I am 54. My Dr. has taken me off mononesa after 3 years of use and started me on C-BI-EST/PROG 10/120mg/ml at 1 click per day. The only problem I was having before this med change was very frequent hot flashes during th 7 days off the mononessa. I have been using the cream religiously and even began clicking twice per order of the pharmacist. The hot flashes are coming on about ever 15 to thirty minutes day and night. Very tired now. Both hormones he has recommended instead cost 115$ a month. I would like to continue the cream because of its affordability and the hot flashes are my only issue. Any advice fo making this cream work better? Maybe where I am putting on??? or what time of day??? etc. Maybe 2 months has not been long enough. My name is Mary Thanks

I think the cause of Hot Flashes is not the medicine. Many women at your age experience hot flashes, some of them more frequently! It is a sign of menopause!
You should try to change your diet (low calories, more fibers, more rise and fruits), do aerobic exercises daily (do not force you body), stay in opened areas, don't change the temperature of the place you stay: make it as fresh as possiple.
Take it easy, mostly they go away with time
