What Causes Frequent Leg Cramps?

I am getting terrible leg cramps at night in my right leg to the point it is causing pain in the top of my right foot and along my ankle. Have been to a local doctor who states the muscle has become tight but I can t get it to release. What causes leg cramps is it something lacking in my diet, I am 58 years old and work a physical job in a warehouse on cement floors.

I have studied your case and cramps can be due to following causes.
1. Low salt in body
2. low calcium in diet
3. Lack of calcium and vitamin D in diet
4. low serum b 12
So these are few vitamin and minerals which causes cramps. So my suggestion is that you should start taking salt in juice. Take regular calcium in diet . It is present in milk, chicken and egg. Also daily half hour sun exposure will help. Take CCM tablet which has both calcium and vitamin D. Low serum B 12 can be taken care of with the help of methylcobal daily. Avoid very cold room or airconditioner.
