What Causes Frequent Migraine Attacks And Blurred Vision?

I have had a migraine for 7 days now. I get them frequently, and have since the age of 10. I am now 47. There is blurred vision in my left eye, nausea, dizziness, fluttering and throbbing in my left temple artery, neck pain, shoulder and chest pains on and off, hand numbness, and swelling, pain and fluttering in my left thigh. Numbness in my left foot. My ear hurts as well. I called my doctor and it was suggested to keep taking fiorecet as needed and use cold compresses, and rest and stay hydrated. I have tried benedryl as well. Nothing is really helping and with the other symptoms I am scared. There is history of strokes and aneryisms in my family. She said most of my bloodwork a few weeks ago came back ok and so there isn t much to worry about, but is considering referring me to a neurologist. Thoughts please? **I have spinal stenosis, Fibro, DDD, asthma, severe allergies and chronic sinus disease. I am being treated for high blood pressure.

Neurologist, Surgical 's  Response
Hello,

If the nature of the headaches changed and since there is a history of neurological diseases in your family, I think a brain MRI is necessary to understand better your condition. If the MRI will result negative preventive migraine treatment (propranolol, antiseizure drugs, etc.) should be started. Discuss with your Neurologist for these issues.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
