What Causes Frequent Ringing In Ears And Blood While Cleaning?

I am not sure what is going on It all started when I changed jobs to being a mechanic and using air tools. I had no problems until a few months later. I kept getting complained at for not listening. I have never had any problems with ear infections or anything else before. So I decided to use hydrogen peroxide to clean my ears. I used it and I felt as it worked. I began using it about once a week for three weeks. I then stopped and about a month or so later I started to feel as if my left ear was clogged and I would occasionally hear ringing. The feeling wouldn t go away. I ignored it and it went away within two weeks. Now about a month and a half later I start to hear ringing but not quit often. Today I showered and dried my ears with a q-tip and it had some blood on it. I don t want to ignore it because I am afraid that it may cause permanent damage. Then again doctors are expensive.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query; it suggest that you may be suffering from the Q tip injury. It may be in the external auditory canal and tympanic membrane but to rule out these two condition you may go for otoscopy.

Wish you good health.
