What Causes Frequent Urge To Urinate And Bladder Fullness Despite Treating UTI?
Hello,I m a 28 yrs female. I have had urinary disorders for 6 years since I was last diagnosed with UTI. I recovered several months later but it s still minorly persisting. I always find it difficult to fully empty my bladder and recently I ve had a strong sudden urge to urinate that I may struggle to hold but a few seconds later this urge almost disappears and I don t even feel like going to the toilet; this strong urge may return a few minutes later and so on it keeps suddenly coming and going and if I go the toilet little urine may get out. What s wrong with me? Thanks a lot in advance.
You need to get a urine culture and sensitivity test. Uro dynamic study to know what is the problem. It maybe overactive sphincter that may create an impulse to pass urine but when brain inform that you want to hold it stops, and again started or overactive bladder who cannot store urine and create an urge when a small amount of urine entered it.
Based on diagnosis treatment is given either to relax your urinary bladder or to constrict your sphincter.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
