What Causes Frequent Urge To Urinate?

What might a frequent urge to urinate be? I have no pain when urinating, and a urine sample showed now infection. I have had a test done and my bladder is emptying each time I urinate. However, I often feel the need to urinate shortly after eliminating urine. The sensation remains constant.

Good Day and thank your for being with healthcare magic!

You may have a condition called an Overactive Bladder (OAB) and this is characterized by severe urgency in urination in the absence of infection or any other abnormalities in the genito-urinary tract. I would suggest seeing a Urologist to get evaluated and prescribed the necessary medicine to control your frequent urinatio. (e.g. Solifenacin etc.)
