Hello doctor,



I had a surgical abortion 2 days ago and today i have had problems with frequent urination. I had an ovarian cyst 6 years ago and have had bladder problems since. The doctors i have seen are not sure if the cyst is related to my bladder or problem or f it was just found by chance during the ultrasound at that time. It filled with water/fluid and grew to 15cm and i had it removed. As i said, this was 6 years ago. Since my symptoms back then, i was put on a medication called endep because the side affect is believed to help bladder frequency. Every few months for the past year i have frequency even though i am on endep, and endep helps because i can hold it rather than run to the bathroom. I have regular ultrasounds which have shown that there are no cysts, although last year there were 2 small fibroids found and the gynaecologist advised me that there was no need for removing them if they are not causing me problems. I had the frequency come quicker than usual a couple of months ago (it came 1 month after the last time instead of afew months) and after realising my periods were 5 days late, i had a pregnancy test which confirmed my pregnancy. The symptoms were early symptoms of pregnancy i guess. 2 days ago i had the surgical abortion with no complication, today i have the frquency. I am just wondering how long the urinary frquency problem will last if it is related to the pregnancy this time.
