Hello,
Welcome to HCM
Losartan is an antihypertensive medication belonging to Angiotensin receptor antagonists group.
Increased urination is one of the side effects of losartan, but its not a diuretic. This side effect is more if it is combined with hydrochlorothiazide group of antihypertensive drugs.
Hence, you should drink a lot of water when you are using this. This will subside once you get adjusted to the medication in 2-3 weeks.
Hope i have cleared your doubts.
Thank you.
