What Causes Frequent Urination After Taking Plan B After Sex?

Hi... I took the plan b pill 5 days ago. It was because I stopped taking my normal birth control and started a new kind and about a week after taking the new kind I had unprotected sex and he ejaculated inside of me. I took the plan b pill 5 hours after sex. I was NOT ovulating. Ever since then I have had MAJOR frequent urges to pee. Maybe every two hours. Sometimes every hour. I don t know if this is a side effect or if it is my brain playing tricks on me. Please help...

Hello,

I believe you have developed UTI which is the commonest cause of sexual intercourse these days as a result of unhygienic genitals.

You should take Tab. Levofloxin 500 mg OD x 5 Days. Apart from that, you should keep proper perineal hygiene.

You should wash your perineal area properly and immediately after having sexual intercourse.
