What Causes Frequent Urination And Spotting?

yes. i have frequent urination, sensitive to sounds, i began beleeding around the time my period comes but it was very different. It was very lite spotting the first day and it only lasted 5 days when usually it is medium flow from the begiining and last 7 days. I did stop my birth control about 3 weeks ago. What could this be?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, the frequent urination is likely urinary infection from various reasons.

The spotting is definitely due to hormonal imbalance following stoppage of birth control pills.

I would recommend to take a urine microscopy examination with your PCP and consult with report in follow up question.

Till that time, consume more liquids and maintain vaginal hygiene.
