What Causes Frequent Urination During Nights And Sore Lump At The Anus?

Hi, my husband has problems with his bladder at night. He gets up to go about 3-4 tims anight. THe doctor has put him on some medication. He has also noticed a sore / slight lump between in rectum and penis which is sore and very red. He has an hospital appointment at the end of march to see the urylogist. Can you advise as to what this lump may be?
